“This is the music to fall in love with over many evenings, each subsequent rotation capturing another moment of time to be recalled in the future. Highly recommended” (Headphone Commute)
One evening, two concerts:
On Dictaphone's sixth album “Unstable,” which will be released this summer, the project led by Brussels-born, Berlin-based composer Oliver Doerell brings a dark, atmospheric experimental sound with references to the Belgian underground scene of the 1980s. Minimalist jazz meets musique concrète and post-punk.
Doerell is once again surrounded by musician friends: clarinettist Roger Döring, violinist Alexander Stolze and trumpet player Shahab Anousha, the latter will also accompany him at this concert at HAU.
Helga Raimondi's visuals will complete the evening to create an overall experience.
Andrea Belfi is a composer and percussionist for neo-classical, new and experimental music, as well as for improvisation, theatre and performance.
In a dynamic interaction, fluid percussion, melodic arrangements, complex electronic soundscapes and Belfi's joy of playing live combine to create an impressive maelstrom.
