The all-star band from the Berlin universities, TU, FU, HU, Charité and UdK, under their new director Martin Gerwig, plays rousing music from the old masters Count Basie and Duke Elligton to the classic big bands of Bill Holman and Thad Jones to Charles Mingus' and the modern big band sound of Herbholtzheimer and Bob Mintzer.
