Mastermind is Arcadius Didavi, composer, bassist and singer, fascinated by his way of fusing music from Benin and modern jazz and transferring it into a new field of tension. In doing so, he transfers African polyrhythms to his compositions and mixes them with European harmonic tradition. His creativity seems to know no bounds: The multi-instrumentalist plays bass guitar like several traditional African instruments, which he built himself and developed further for jazz.
Moussa Coulibaly is a griot musician who grew up in a small village in Burkina Faso. His musical education began at the age of 6 in the circle of his musical family.
