The special exhibition “45 Years of Kunsthaus ARTES” presents paintings, installations, sculptures and editions. These include collectibles from classical modernism by artists such as Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Erich Heckel, Max Liebermann and Emil Nolde.

Works by contemporary, renowned artists such as Stephan Strahlehol, Cornelia Schimmele, Georg Baselitz, Gerhard Richter, Günther Uecker, Neo Rauch and Tony Cragg are also shown.

The exhibition is rounded off by works by younger artists from the ARTES program, including Christian Awe, Marion Eichmann, Willi Siber, Karoline Kroiß, Winnie Seifert, Lars Teichmann, Dagmar Vogt, Wolfgang Flad and Ruri Matsumoto.

During Berlin Art Week, the Kunsthaus ARTES invites you to celebrate its 45th anniversary for a weekend. The gallery will also expand its premises and double the exhibition space in the beautiful Wilhelminian style house. Visitors can look forward to an extensive exhibition with more than 120 works of art by over 50 different artists. A charming courtyard with a bar offers the opportunity to immerse yourself in art-related conversations.
