To mark the 25th anniversary of the Berlin Underworlds, the "3rd Long Night of the Underworlds" will finally take place in 2023. For this purpose, all locations will be made accessible - even those that can usually only be visited as part of guided tours. In addition, a diverse program will be offered to the visitors.
The "Berlin Underworlds" tell the story of Berlin's development into Europe's largest industrial metropolis, of the development of an underground infrastructure, of the megalomania of the National Socialists and their project to transform Berlin, of survival under the protection of the bunkers during the Second World War, of the fear of nuclear emergencies, of the division of the city and the breakthroughs in the Wall underground.
One of the highlights is a new facility under Dresdener Straße, which was listed as a historic monument only last year.
The program goes from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.; last admission is at 0 a.m.
