Christmas market at Friedrichstraße station

Christmas Market in Berlin from 22 November to 31 December 2022

The Christmas market at Friedrichstraße station is cosy and contemplative. The high-quality and nostalgic Christmas market is a great addition to the big Christmas markets in Berlin-Mitte and worth a visit!

Every year there is a small Christmas market at the famous Friedrichstraße station. The market invites you to visit and enjoy mulled wine, game specialities and a free eco-friendly ice rink.

Open until after Christmas

The Christmas market at Friedrichstraße station had its debut in 2018 and has been part of the Christmas market scene in Berlin ever since. Between the station building and the Federal Press Office, the small but classy Christmas market at Dorothea-Schlegel-Platz will be open until after Christmas.

Culinary delights in heated seating niches

Here you will be spoiled with grilled specialities, bratwurst with kale, hot chestnuts, Hungarian lángos (deep fried dough) and of course mulled wine and other hot drinks. You can enjoy original Dresden Christmas stollen fruit bread and fresh hot red wine punch in covered and heated seating niches. Small individual fireplaces create a particularly romantic atmosphere.

Handicrafts and other special gift ideas

If you are looking for special Christmas gifts, you are sure to find them here: At their stands, exhibitors offer handicrafts from the Ore Mountains, handmade glass products, shepherd products and other specialities for sale.

Christmas time is fairytale time

Younger guests can get in the mood for the Christmas season in various fairytale huts. This is where well-known fairytale characters tell their stories.

Highlight: the free eco-friendly curling rink

A very special highlight at the Christmas market at Friedrichstraße station is the eco-friendly curling rink. This can be reserved free of charge and, like the event area with a number of small bonfires, is ideal for larger groups or Christmas parties. Every evening you will be entertained with live Christmas music.
