The Wash Bar
Pre-mixed cocktails under neon lights
Anyone strolling along Brunnenstraße in the evening will discover a new highlight of Berlin’s bar scene halfway between Rosenthaler Platz and Gesundbrunnen: the Wash Bar. Where the legendary Tarantino’s once welcomed regulars for over 20 years, the duo behind the bar opened another venue dedicated to creative cocktail art at the end of 2022.
Neon art, street art and laboratory aesthetics
Outside the Wash Bar , a black disco ball catches the eye. Inside, the bar’s creative décor takes centre stage. You can expect a successful blend of street art gallery, laboratory and neon lettering – but the visual highlight is probably the brightly coloured glass demijohns behind the bar. They are not just decoration, but the centrepiece of the bar’s concept: inside them, homemade liqueurs, spirits and mixed cocktails await their turn.
Pre-batched cocktails of our own creation
At the Wash Bar, your drinks are served according to the innovative pre-batched cocktail concept practised here. Instead of mixing each drink individually, the cocktails are prepared in larger quantities through careful preparation, stored in glass demijohns and finished fresh in the evening. This ensures the flavour remains consistent, the aromas unfold precisely – and the waiting time for thirsty visitors is noticeably reduced.
Our tips
- Card payments are the only option at the Wash Bar. So please ensure you have suitable payment methods with you when you visit.
- You can book a table at The Storage on request. In this hidden part of the bar, a liquid tasting menu with a unique cocktail combination awaits you.
