Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of sound at the Synthesiser Museum Berlin - an interactive experience for music lovers, technology fans and anyone interested in the history and magic of electronic instruments.

Experience music history on site

In front of silvery wallpapered walls, mixing boards and sound machines are set up; lights flash next to the rotary knobs. The Synthesiser Museum Berlin not only tells the story of music history, but also brings it to life.

Pick up the keys

In differently designed rooms, which also include a stage and a small café, around 50 electronic instruments and legendary synthesisers are on display, including many rarities and curious individual pieces. The special thing is that the objects are not exhibited behind glass, but you can try many of them out for yourself. So feel free to reach for the keys and turn the knobs. While playfully exploring sound and tone sequences, you can immerse yourself directly in the evolution of electronic music. If you like, you can load your compositions onto a USB and take them home with you as a souvenir.

Dive deeper into the musical history of synthetic electronic instruments during guided tours. And at regular Events and concerts are not only about sharing and musical nostalgia, but also about the further development of creative spaces for sound experiments.

Originally an electronics shop for musicians:Inside and synthesiser nerds, the premises are now a living time capsule: founded by people with a decades-long passion for electronic sounds, the Synthesizer Museum sees itself as an archive, laboratory and meeting place all in one. Many of the exhibits have been lovingly restored and some are unique in the world.

A real insider tip

Please note: The entrance to the Synthesizer Museum is not far from the busy Kottbusser Tor underground station and is somewhat hidden next to a former supermarket. The doorbell is just to the right of the steel door. Once inside the building, take the stairs to the 1st floor.

Once you arrive, you will be greeted by a passionate team. Whether you're a music nerd, sound artist or just curious: the authentic atmosphere of the exhibition venue makes a visit to the Synthesiser Museum a real Berlin experience - also suitable for families with kids who love to experiment.
