Voices in My Head

Following a successful festival tour, the film has already been screened at international festivals, including the Universal Film Festival and the acclaimed Cinejoy Film Festival. The project has also generated considerable interest online: the first teaser trailer for “Voices in my Head” has racked up over 500,000 views on our social media channels.

The cinema tour aims to demonstrate that there is an audience for independent horror and genre films in Germany too. International successes have shown for years just how great the enthusiasm for the genre is, and we want to help ensure that German genre films also find their rightful place in cinemas.

‘Voices in my Head’ is a gripping horror film that delves deep into the complexities of the human psyche. With a multi-layered narrative style, haunting visual imagery and outstanding performances, the film combines gripping suspense with emotional intensity. It takes the audience on a powerful journey through grief, paranoia and the blurring boundaries between reality and illusion – a cinematic experience that lingers long after the credits have rolled.

About the film’s DIRECTOR, PRODUCER and SCREENWRITER – Alexander von Rappard:

Among von Rappard’s best-known works is the short film “It Gets Better”, for which he wrote the screenplay. The film received numerous international awards and made it onto the longlist for the 91st Academy Awards. His latest short film, “Die Schwelle”, premiered in October at the Hof International Film Festival. “Voices in my Head” marks his feature film debut as a director.
