Carla Bessa is a Brazilian playwright and storyteller living in Berlin who writes in both languages. Her latest novel, published in German, deals with a brutal act of violence in Rio de Janeiro.
Anke Stelling is a German novelist who has explored themes such as motherhood and care in some of her works.
