An enchanting afternoon of movies at Berlin Cathedral
Three films, one very special concert:
- “Santa Claus” (1898)—an enchanting Christmas film from the very early days of cinema.
- “The Night Before Christmas” (1933)—a fairy-tale Christmas story from days gone by.
- “The Snowman” (1982)—the feature-length film based on the famous children’s book by Raymond Briggs: A boy builds a snowman who suddenly comes to life! Together, the two embark on a wonderful and exciting adventure that even takes them all the way to Santa Claus.
As the images flicker across the screen, Jakub Sawicki plays the historic Sauer organ. His music complements the films, making every scene even more exciting, funny, and mysterious.
A special Christmas afternoon for the whole family—featuring a film, organ music, snow, and plenty of Christmas magic!
