The world bestseller on stage for the first time

Dan Brown's international hit thriller "The Da Vinci Code: Sacrilege" will be coming to Berlin as a gripping stage adaptation starting in March 2026.

Now the bestseller celebrates its stage premiere – with cinematic productions and a new epic soundtrack, live and up close.

With over 80 million copies sold, 48 weeks at number one on the bestseller list, and almost six million cinemagoers in Germany alone, the story is one of the greatest phenomena in the world of literature and film.

A Murder in the Louvre and the Search for the Holy Grail

At the center of the story is Harvard professor Robert Langdon, who is summoned to the Louvre in Paris. There, chief curator Jacques Saunière lies dead in front of the Mona Lisa – enclosed in a mysterious pentagram. The cryptic clues lead deep into the works of Leonardo da Vinci. But Langdon himself soon finds himself under suspicion. Together with cryptologist Sophie Neveu, they embark on a breathless escape across Europe, where they must uncover an ancient secret – a mystery that could shake the foundations of the Church.

Dan Brown – Master of the Thriller

Dan Brown is one of the world's most successful authors. His novels have been translated into 54 languages and regularly top international bestseller lists.

He has thrilled millions of readers with works such as "Illuminati," "Inferno," "Origin," and "Diabolus." His most famous work, however, remains "The Da Vinci Code," which achieved cult status through the successful Hollywood adaptation starring Tom Hanks, Audrey Tautou, Ian McKellen, and Jean Reno. Brown's trademark: pure suspense at the intersection of art, history, and religion.

The stage adaptation – a gripping experience

Dan Brown himself is delighted with the stage adaptation:
"I'm delighted that THE DA VINCI CODE – SACRILEGE is finally making its way to the stage. The team remains true to the book, but also introduces new ideas. Audiences can look forward to a gripping, fast-paced stage thriller."

With a modern production, striking images, and a specially composed soundtrack, the hunt for the Holy Grail becomes a unique live experience.
