Möbel Olfe

Kreuzberg at its best

Möbel Olfe is one of the most popular bars for lesbians and gays in the whole of Berlin. The bar, which is located at the lively Kottbusser Tor, is also appropriately known as the "Trinkhalle", literally the "drinking hall". The ceilings are high and concrete pillars divide the room. The décor is currently being changed and new elements added. You can find everything here, from satellite dishes above the long wooden bar, to a piece of real turf nailed to the wall, from stag antlers to stuffed pike. The Polish beers and many varieties of Russian vodka are highly recommended.

The crowd in the bar is mixed: Tuesday is lesbian night, while gay men dominate the venue on Thursdays. These evenings are so popular that it regularly gets pretty crowded here. In Möbel Olfe in Kreuzberg you can experience the positive side of Berlin's diversity.
