After their summer tour through North America, Young The Giant will come to Europe in autumn 2023 and present their new album "American Bollywood" in Berlin. The career of Young The Giant culminates for the time being with the release of their magnum opus "American Bollywood". Ambitious in terms of content and music, multi-layered and complex, the band's fifth album was released in four parts: "Origins", "Exile", "Battle" and "Denouement".

With their first two singles "My Body" and "Cough Syrup" from their debut album "Young The Giant", the Californians became popular guests on radio, television and on live stages. Albums Mind Over Matter (2014), Home Of The Strange (2016) and Mirror Master (2018) followed, propelling them to the top of the indie and alternative rock charts.
In the current songs, singer and lyricist Sameer Gadhia dedicates himself more intensively and personally than ever to the themes that have resonated in her work since the beginning of Young The Giant: It's about belonging, the search for a home and identity as well as (post) migrant things living in the US.
This sometimes difficult material doesn't harm the hit density and catchy tunes of "American Bollywood", as feel-good songs like "The Walk Home" and "Wake Up" prove. On the instrumental level, Indian and Western influences are mixed using traditional instruments such as the sitar and tabla drums.
