The concept of the concert is a tribute to the late rapper MF DOOM, with whom Bey shared a deep musical and creative connection. With ‘Beyondoom’, Yasiin Bey honours the legacy of MF DOOM while also setting a new sound impulse in the hip-hop landscape with a mixture of DOOM tracks and new, unreleased songs by Bey.
The concert fuses rap, jazz and alternative beats, breaking with the mould of traditional hip-hop performances.
