The Museum Island in the heart of Berlin has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. In the same year, the decision was made to completely renovate the extraordinary ensemble from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Since then, these plans have been implemented step by step.
The tour provides insights into the history and future of the Museum Island and presents the highlights of the Neues Museum and the Pergamon Museum.
Following the tour, the museums on Museum Island can be visited until they close.
- Tickets can be reserved online and on site at the museum ticket office.
