What remains when a woman disappears? The mysterious disappearance of a woman is told from different perspectives. Each character has their own version of the truth, and with each story the boundaries between reality and imagination, fact and fiction become blurred. The play invites you to think about the power of stories, memories and identities.
The production focuses on empty space - a space that is brought to life by the bodies of the nine actresses. With intense physical presence, the actresses fill the stage and develop individual versions of what it means to be a woman. Humorous and moving at the same time, they deal with existential questions about identity, self-perception and social expectations.
How do the different "versions" of women relate to each other? Who determines what is "true"? And how much space is left for the unspoken?
The production looks for answers without giving up ambivalence and creates an experience that combines thoughtfulness and lightness in a unique way.
With movement, dynamism and subtle humor, the actresses tackle the profound themes of the play and take the audience on a journey between laughter and thoughtfulness.
