Zeynep Akdil (violoncello) and Ufuk Mete Şahin (piano)
Romantic music by E. Grieg, P. I. Tchaikovsky, C. Debussy and others performed by Zeynep Akdil (cello) and Ufuk Mete Şahin (piano). The Turkish-born cellist Zeynep Akdil studied at the State Conservatory of Hacettepe University in Ankara with Prof. Dogan Cangal.
After her diploma Zeynep Akdil moved to Germany and continued her artistic training with Prof. Mathias de Oliveira Pinto and Marcio Carneiro and finally her chamber music postgraduate studies with Andreas Arndt. Various solo and chamber music master classes broadened her musical horizon. Since 2018 she has been living as a freelance musician in Berlin.
Ufuk Mete Sahin (b. 1997) graduated from Mersin University State Conservatory with a piano major. In 2016 he came to Germany and began his bachelor's degree at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold as a piano student with Professor Elena Margolina-Hait. In his first semester in Detmold he was able to rehearse Sergei Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 4 with the Northwest German Philharmonic.
During his training he took part in master classes with Prof. Bernd Goetzke, Prof. Paul Badura-Skoda, Prof. Ivan Klansky and Prof. Arnulf von Arnim. During this time he gave many concerts and found the opportunity to present his repertoire.
