A musical-cultural-historical foray through the 10s, 20s, 30s and 40s
The Vintage Jazz Trio is a Berlin band, dedicated to the fiery combo Jazz, Swing & Blues of the 20s, 30s and 40s as well as soulful ballads and "after hours" bar music - sometimes with a touch of modernity or a dash of Eastern Europe, but above all with a lot of singing and a good mood.
The Vintage Jazz Trio plays - authentic in spirit, but not slavishly copied - the good old (old-fashioned?) jazz, the "good (valuable) vintages", when jazz was still allowed to be fun and danceable for musicians and listeners alike, "fun jazz", as some of their listeners understand it - or as the great Louis Armstrong used to call it, simply "the good old good ones"...
- Piano, Kazoo and vocals: Sebastian Claudius Semler
- Guitar and vocals: Valeri Pysarenko
- Double Bass and Blues Harp: Wolfgang Dubiel
