Let’s turn our attention to music that does not yet exist. As this text is being written, large parts of the concert program are still being composed. The works will premiere in New York in October and will then be performed in Berlin for the first time in Germany.
Thus, this evening deals with something that defies precise description: the future.
We don’t yet know what awaits us. That is precisely what makes it so appealing.
