Turbostaat

At this year’s Amplifier Festival, TURBOSTAAT played their album “Vormann Leiss” in full for the first time at the organisers’ request – initially with rather mixed expectations. After all, festival sets work differently to club gigs, and an album with an A-side and a B-side isn’t exactly a traditional setlist. But the audience’s reaction took the band by surprise: they sang along at the top of their voices, the area in front of the stage was absolutely packed – and, above all, TURBOSTAAT themselves had so much fun playing the album in its entirety that it quickly became clear: this has to be repeated.
