Seven saxophones and a tuba play works by Johann Sebastian Bach. You can discover a basso continuo, which the tuba takes up, and the variety from tenor to soprano saxophone can be heard above it. Their versatility creates a completely new sound experience: traditional and modern.

An unusual project, an unusual sound: Since summer 2021, seven saxophones and a tuba have been playing works by Johann Sebastian Bach under the direction of Astrid Graf. These instruments weren't even invented in Bach's time. So you have to travel 300 years into history with a tuba and saxophone in your luggage.
