Astrid Müller studied social pedagogy and public health/health sciences. She initially wrote travelogues, later books and short stories. Her novel "20 Years" is due to be published in 2024.

Ariane Meinzer trained as a retail bookseller in Wuppertal. She has lived and worked in Berlin since 2002. She has been a member of staff in the Bundestag since 2003. She started writing and reading stories at the Friedrichshain "Kitchen Reading" in 2004. In December 2009, the "Unerhörten" celebrated their first performance at Café Tasso in Berlin Friedrichshain. Since then, the reading theatre has presented new stories there once a month. Ariane Meinzer's short story collection "Papierschiffchen am Horizont" has been published.

Marion Alexa Müller is the head of Periplaneta Verlag. In addition to managing and organising the publishing house, she oversees projects, enjoys editing, illustrating, photographing and filming, loves encyclopaedias in every shape and colour and is a member of the monthly reading stage Vision & Wahn. A selection of her "businesswomen's tales" appeared in 2010 in the book "Evasapfel" and in 2017 in "Die unterschätzte Kunst des Scheiterns im Leben von Menschen und anderen Kleintieren".

The Periplaneta TresenLesen: We read and talk. And drinking. It's about literature, art and the big questions. Entertaining, sometimes controversial and unpredictable in its dynamics.
