Gob Squad
In the cold winter of 2003, a time before Google Maps, YouTube, selfie sticks and smartphones, Gob Squad took to the streets around the Prater of the Volksbühne Berlin for the first time - equipped with video cameras, charm and naive blind trust.

Gob Squad im Prater Super Night Shot UA 5.12.03
Every evening they shot a unique live film portrait of this city with random passersby who were cast as stars. For the length of a videotape, Gob Squad became heroes who tried to solve the problems of the people they encountered - whether financial, spiritual or social - or more practical.
Over the next 20 years, Super Night Shot became Gob Squad's most successful and most toured production, with hundreds of performances on every continent around the world. Now Super Night Shot is coming back to the Volksbühne and marks the start of the anniversary of Gob Squad, who will be 30 years old next year.
