with Sigrid Grajek & Stefanie Rediske from Berlin
...this is the question asked by Marcellus Schiffer and Mischa Spoliansky in 1928 in the title song "Es liegt in der Luft" in their revue of the same name. And they immediately provide the answer: it is objectivity! Strictly speaking, the "New Objectivity".
The trend in the 1920s in all art movements was away from the romantic-emotional towards a more sober view of reality - objective. In this musical programme, we present songs from the time that describe - not without the typical Berlin wit - everyday realities.
- Singing: Sigrid Grajek
- Piano: Stefanie Rediske
