Silent Magic - with Topas

SILENT MAGIC is a novel live show concept. It combines acoustic illusions with the spectacular illusions of stage magic. Magic for the eyes and ears!

But above all, SILENT MAGIC is interactive!

The show uses the multi-channel headphones of the "Silent Disco" to enable unique magic. All audience members receive high-quality, polyphonic headphones to enjoy the show. The magic happens in the minds of the spectators. The headphones can receive four different channels – the audience constantly determines the style of the show!

What's happening on stage?

Topas makes familiar objects appear and disappear in his hands: a lighter, an electric razor, and a hairdryer. But the audience hears in 3D sound exactly where the objects vanish and reappear. They swirl around your head, from left to right and back again. An object eventually flies across the entire room.

Topas explains how important the soundtrack and sound effects are in a feature film. The same scene can have a completely different effect with different music. Now the audience gets to choose how they want to experience the next trick. Topas cuts a white rope and makes it whole again with a flick of his finger – but the audience decides whether they want to see the scene as horror, comedy, erotic, or a sporting event. A single tap on the headphones and the performance takes on a completely different feel.

Magic captivates people of all ages – but the style, of course, needs to be adapted! Topas makes a balloon weigh as much as a stone and a heavy brick shatter in delight. The audience can choose an age-appropriate performance for viewers aged 6 and up, 13 and up, 18 and up, or 65 and over. Babies, teenagers, those who enjoy the taboo, and active seniors all get their money's worth.


In which language should the magic be performed? Topas presents a magical puzzle where solid wood seems to melt. The audience can hear his thoughts on the performance in four different languages: German, English, Swabian dialect, or Klingon. So even aliens are welcome.


Topas sings a song while the microphone and stand float freely through the air – and everyone in the audience chooses their favorite genre: rock, dance, hip-hop, or German pop.


The magic of SILENT MAGIC takes place in the minds of each individual spectator – but everyone celebrates the effects together.
