Berlin Fairy Tale Days at the Kollwitz Museum

The Käthe Kollwitz Museum is pleased to be part of it again. On Sunday 19 November 2023, a shadow theatre based on the story "The Little Scaredy-Cat", by Irish graphic artist and author Elizabeth Shaw, will be performed with music and song.


November is fairy tale time again! As part of the Berlin Fairy Tale Days, exciting events are offered for fairy tale fans all over Berlin. The autumn month will once again be a month full of fantastic stories, shining children's eyes and special shared experiences with the family.

The Berlin Fairy Tale Days will take place for the 34th time, this year under the motto "Strife and Reconciliation - Fairy Tales and Stories of Togetherness".



Shadow theatre based on the story "The Little Scaredy-Cat".

at 3.00 p.m.

Maik Zöllner performs the colourful shadow play with guitar, singing and lots of fun. The play, based on motifs by Käthe Kollwitz Prize winner Elisabeth Shaw, is about fear, friendship and the courage to rise above oneself. Afterwards, those interested can create their own shadow figures and try their hand behind the scenes.
