Screening of award-winning short films from the university short film festival

This festival has established itself as a unique place where emerging talent, innovation and artistic expression come together, building a bridge between students, filmmakers and the film industry. The selected short films address both universal and local issues with a fascinating creativity and fresh perspectives that leave no room for indifference.

The F.C.U. not only promotes Mexican short film, but also supports the international visibility of talent at universities and strengthens collaboration between creators and viewers. The exhibition consists of the winners of the feature film, documentary film, animated film and experimental film categories. In addition, the short films that were awarded non-cash prizes by the festival sponsors will also be shown. The short films deal with a variety of topics, from religion to minorities around the world to Mexican cultural themes such as wrestling, memory and self-improvement. This tour is a great example of the cinema that young university students are making in Mexico.
