The world is obviously falling apart, and a little family security would be nice. So four sisters return home at their mother's request for a meeting. Scattered across Europe, they lead lives that couldn't be more different. And then there was a pandemic that left deeper scars than anyone would like to admit.
Tena Štivičić has written a play for the Berliner Ensemble that uses the example of a family to trace the cracks in society.
The shattering of the familiar, experiences of isolation on the one hand and digital networking on the other, have changed the relationships between the sisters as well as their ideas about future life and death.
Despite all the conflicts, Štivičić's attempt to establish the connection that is so painfully missed and at the same time to radically assert herself also has its comical side.
