About the book
The menopause often begins earlier than you might think – and can really turn everyday life upside down. Juggling work, family and life’s everyday challenges, the hormonal changes can quickly be the last straw.
In “Peri Meno”, Rinah Lang offers a clever, entertaining and informative account of this particular phase of life and its many challenges. In her search for answers and connections, she speaks to experts, shares experiences with friends and reflects deeply on her own experiences. Gradually, a new clarity emerges – along with the encouragement to engage with one’s own questions and needs.
About Rinah Lang
Rinah Lang studied illustration in the Netherlands and Scotland and lived in Paris for a while before moving to Berlin, where she now lives and works. As an illustrator, she creates work for magazines and newspapers and has also been focusing on book illustration for several years.
She shares her studio with numerous creative colleagues and greatly values the exchange of ideas and collaboration. She prefers to work with ink, coloured pencils, scissors and paper – even though she repeatedly finds that working digitally is sometimes simply more practical.
