A puppet show featuring lots of music, great sounds, and beautiful songs for alert children and lively adults
The well-crafted combination of puppetry and music, and the friendly, double-entendre style in which the story is performed, narrated, sung, and commented on, present the audience with the Grimm fairy tale as they know it, in all its beauty and tragedy, yet also leaves room for the audience’s own imagination, provides plenty of fun, and offers a cheerful theatrical conclusion—just as it should be.
Contributing significantly to the success of this updated production are new sound effects and newly composed, original, and memorable songs that accompany the action, including the thrilling soundscape for the recitative "Imagine if your neighbor were a sorceress," the "Song of Riding," the "Song of Washing Hair," or the one about "Rapunzel's Salad."
Stage adaptation, set design, and direction: Jost Braun (Master of Fine Arts / graduate of the HGB Leipzig)

Acting, puppetry, vocals: Hanne Braun (Certified educator and graduate of the HfS Ernst Busch Berlin / Department of Puppetry)
