With 90 musicians, the Queensland Youth Symphony (QYS) is the leading ensemble within the orchestra network of the Queensland Youth Orchestras (QYO) in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

Under the artistic direction of conductor Simon Hewett, also known to classical music enthusiasts for his numerous engagements in Germany, QYS has specialized in large symphonic works from the late 19th century to the present.
