Antonii Baryshevskyi plays etudes by Debussy, Ligeti, Lunyov, Liszt, Chopin, Kossenko and Shalygin.

Antonii Baryshevskyi, who won first prize in the most prestigious piano competition in the world (Arthur Rubinstein Competition) in 2014, presents piano works in his program: "Etudes" that illustrate the connection between Western European music and Ukrainian music.

In addition to high virtuosity and brilliance, this music demands a special expressiveness from the pianist: they are described as etudes of time, lightness, silence, roughness or beauty.

The concert is organized by the non-profit association UKRAINE.MUSIK.FUTURUM e.V., which was founded by Ukrainian musicians together with German music lovers.

The aim is to document the rich, once again threatened and largely unknown musical heritage of classical Ukrainian music in concerts and recordings and to bring it closer to a German audience.
