Kreuzberg - The resistant district of the 70s / 80s and today

How have initiatives, organizations and residents shaped the identity and history of the neighborhood around the Kotti? What activities are there in Kreuzberg these days? How can you contribute more creatively and actively to community life in the neighborhood?

Based on selected places and stories, you will learn how this neighborhood in particular got its very own character more than 40 years ago through self-determined actions and organizations of all kinds. Stories from contemporary witnesses and the use of historical and current photographs bring history to life!

Clubs, initiatives, institutions and people who have been active in Kreuzberg for decades and still shape cultural life in the district today are also presented at the PHOTO-WALK.

The PHOTO-WALK is conducted by Andy Wolff. Andy was born in the neighborhood more than 60 years ago and has been working at the Regenbogenfabrik children's, culture and neighborhood center since 2006.

Start: 2 p.m. | f³ – space for photography, Waldemarstraße 17, 10179 Berlin
Duration: approx. 2.5 hours
