Berlin was one of the centres of the Peaceful Revolution. With the occupation of the former Stasi headquarters on 15 January 1990, the formerly hermetically sealed area of the GDR secret police also became a place of social upheaval in East Germany.

The photo exhibition presents places of the Peaceful Revolution at the historical site in "House 22" of the former Stasi headquarters, today's Campus for Democracy, using impressive photographs from the picture archive of the Robert Havemann Society.
