Permanent exhibition "More than a life" at Kollwitz-Museum Berlin

Each of the four floors of the museum has its own theme. In the stairwell a red thread leads through important biographical stations.

Address
Käthe-Kollwitz-Museum Berlin

Fasanenstraße 24 10719  Berlin

The ground floor with introduction brings Käthe Kollwitz's Berlin to life, her artistic role models like Max Klinger, Ernst Barlach or Auguste Rodin, her sponsors and friends like Max Lehrs or Max Liebermann, her family.

The first floor shows the first half of life, the period between 20 and 47 years until the outbreak of the First World War in 1914.

The second floor shows the second half of life until her death in 1945 at the age of 77. At that time she was in Moritzburg near Dresden. Today one of the three Käthe Kollwitz museums, the Kollwitz House, is located there.

All exhibition texts are in German and English, an audio guide is available.
