On September 15, 1985, the new organ, which was built in the west gallery by Helmut Werner, Ulrich Schwarzenberg, Armin Zuckerriedel and other employees of the Eule organ building workshop, was ceremoniously put into operation.

Since then, it has secured a permanent place in the organ landscape of Berlin-Brandenburg due to its impressive sound quality and unique character. In the period from January to February 2023, the organ was subjected to a comprehensive general overhaul by the original builder company Eule.
