This workshop is about tree bark as a new material in architecture and design. Large quantities of tree bark are produced in the timber industry. However, due to its uneven texture, the material is hardly used - and is a waste product. Couldn't we utilise the potential of tree bark better?

New series of workshops in cooperation with the Berlin Cluster of Excellence "Matters of Activity" and CollActive Materials at Futurium.
