After a serious illness, Willy Brandt died on October 8, 1992, at his private home in Unkel. Thousands of people bid farewell to the exceptional politician at the public laying out in Schöneberg Town Hall. Numerous guests from all over the world paid their last respects at the state ceremony in the Reichstag building before he was buried in the Zehlendorf forest cemetery.

The guided tour offers an excursion through Willy Brandt's political life and work, discussing the various public ways of remembering the former Governing Mayor, former German Chancellor and Nobel Peace Prize laureate.

The public tour lasts approximately 60 minutes. Free of charge and no registration necessary.
