Historical tour in Neukölln
The town hall on Karl-Marx-Strasse dates from a time when Neukölln was still called Rixdorf. The city, which had the reputation of being ungovernable, was administered from here. Because in Rixdorf there was not only music, but also riot, uproar and revolution.
The tour of the town hall and the surrounding office buildings tells of the occupation of the town hall by angry working women, the liberation of prisoners in the official prison, communists in the police headquarters and anarchists in the registry office.
