In the historical satire ANGELALAND, Juliane Hendes playfully navigates 37 years of German reunification and reflects on the social legacy of Germany’s first female chancellor.

In TAKE CARE & STAY SAFE, the Markus&Markus theater collective explores perspectives on freedom and care through a correspondence with a woman serving a life sentence for murder.

The humorous sci-fi adaptation AKTE ICH – EIN ALIEN STARRT ZURÜCK humorously confronts the fear of the unknown in the mystery and action genres.

As a special feature, Cora Frost explores extraterrestrial extravaganzas in *THE RETURN OF BARABARILLA*, and specially filmed theater short films bring the invisible to light.

MONO:MONO is a spin-off format of the Monologue Festival. The plays were commissioned in 2025 under the theme “I WANT TO BELIEVE.” They explore faith as a creative force, as a catalyst for action, and as an element that can either build or destroy community.

After each double feature: confessions, creeds, and heresy accompanied by music, soup, and drinks at the bar.
