The curtain falls
Following the huge success of *Der nasse Fisch – Eine musikalische Lesung*, the Moka Efti Orchestra and Benno Fürmann are embarking on a new chapter. With *Der Vorhang fällt*, they are bringing another impressive stage production to the stage – once again inspired by the worlds of Volker Kutscher’s novels, this time by the novella *Märzgefallene*.

The production will premiere in 2027 and takes the audience back to the dramatic upheavals of the early 1930s.
Whereas *Der nasse Fisch* brought the dazzling and vibrant world of the late Weimar Republic to life, *Der Vorhang fällt* turns its gaze to its decline: to a time when light-heartedness and freedom increasingly gave way to a new, menacing reality.
