Martina Stock is a harpist and visual artist. From the very beginning, the artist's love for a very special instrument, the concert harp, was the constant source of her inspiration. This resulted in an independent and contemporary interpretation of her favorite instrument, deliberately deviating from the common idea of a classical harp.
The use of loops, electronic sound elements and a play with colors are means that are used in her work. Some of their performances take place in a darkened atmosphere in order to enable the listeners to have a more intensive connection to their music through light and the play of colors.
Through her self-composed pieces, the artist strives to tell stories and appeal to a wide audience. Their musical repertoire cannot be easily classified into a single genre, as it combines core elements of neo-classical, ambient and electronic music.
