The early live performances of the band The Mary Wallopers exuded a raw energy that can best be described as a mix of Dead Kennedys and The Clancy Brothers. They started out as a three-piece Irish ballad group consisting of brothers Charles and Andrew Hendy and their friend Sean McKenna. Together they traveled all over the country singing and, above all, collecting songs.

In 2022, The Mary Wallopers released their debut album and embarked on an extensive tour to share their unique and joyful vision of the historic music of their homeland.
A year later, their second, even more furious album followed, which managed to perfectly capture the chaos, humor and excitement of their impressive live shows.
For anyone who wants to be there: In April 2025, The Mary Wallopers will go on tour again and come to Berlin.
