Visitors with and without visual impairments explore the exhibition of the Egyptian Museum and Papyrus Collection with all their senses. Tactile objects are used.


The family was the most important unit of coexistence in ancient Egypt. You will learn interesting facts about ancient Egyptian ideas and the reality of family life. The roles of men, women and children in the family and in society are discussed. Using numerous tangible original objects, you can “understand” the ancient Egyptian family in the truest sense.


Participation fee including entry: 15 euros Participation fee with a valid entry ticket (annual ticket, support association, ICOM etc.), entitlement to a discount or free entry: 10 euros
