The Flexible Intervention Force is celebrating another year of music and community at WABE. With changing programs and line-ups from the “Jazz” stylistic area, Markus Ehrlich's Flexible Intervention Force regularly visits us.
Before it continues full of energy next year, the flexible intervention force will look back on the most beautiful stage moments of the last few years on December and present small glimpses of what is to come. This evening, guests can expect a colorful mix of different ensembles and formations in planned and spontaneous actions by and with the musicians of the flexible intervention force.
At the start with Swinging Christmas it becomes wonderfully Christmassy and completely heartwarming, like homemade mulled wine with your loved ones. Old and new songs will be heard, the voice of our wonderful singer and the bandleader's saxophone. The rhythm section swings tastefully and drives us towards the end of the year with piano, bass and drums. New soloists are constantly joining in, concocting big band-like spontaneous arrangements together, duo lectures and octet arrangements from the band archive are heard. Like a big mutual gift and receiving gift.
The flexible intervention force in its element!
