A spontaneous concert visit to the Philharmonie, free of charge, is possible every Wednesday at 1 p.m. from September to June. A varied program awaits visitors for 40 to 50 minutes: chamber music, piano works or even a percussion duo - from Tchaikovsky to tango, there is something for every taste.
Members of the Berlin Philharmonic or the Karajan Academy are often on stage, as are guests of the German Symphony Orchestra, the Staatskapelle Berlin or the Berlin music academies. In keeping with the lunch concert, there is catering from 12 p.m. until shortly before the start, offering high quality at fair prices.
Works performed:
- Nadia Boulanger: Three pieces for cello and piano
- Sergei Rachmaninoff: Sonata for cello and piano in G minor, op. 19
With
- David Martín Gutiérrez, cello
- Muzi Li, piano
