“The Line is a Hole (this tremble)” is a solo performance that explores orientation as an embodied, ethical and political condition. What does it mean to stand upright? Where do we look? Who leads? Along which lines do we move, what desires fulfil us, where do we belong?

An upright posture is not only imposed, but also desired. Whether covertly or quite openly, it organises exclusion, domination and violence. The work dwells within this tension, where critique and attraction merge inseparably. The body unfolds as a multiplicity – a permeable constellation of contradictory figures, memories and projections.
Altered temporalities, repetitions, reworked gestures, vocalisations and somatic fictions open up a space in which meaning remains indeterminate and provides a haven for the uncanny.
