75 years ago the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted. Human rights are anchored in many constitutions, including that of the Federal Republic. But in today's world, these inalienable rights are under pressure worldwide.

The aim of this event is to jointly research what human rights mean, how they shape life and how they can be defended.

The event begins with the "Voices of Democracy", a light installation by the Berlin video artist Edda Dietrich. The installation invites you to recognize your own perspectives and ways of thinking, to question them and to exchange ideas with others.

There will be a fishbowl discussion afterwards.

The event will take place in German.
