Kurt Krömer has written a new programme with which he will go on tour in autumn 2022. And what is it about this time? Will there be live animals on stage? Or a fire-eater? And a reunion with Barbara? No one knows the answer to all these questions yet.

Kurt Krömer "Die Gönnung steigt"

But one thing is for sure: there will be something to laugh about. So that everyone stays healthy. Because laughter is known to be the best medicine. And Krömer not only treats himself to it, but also his audience.

Living in Neukölln, at home on stage: Kurt Krömer is a quirky, merciless cabaret artist with an idiosyncratic fashion sense and a Berlin snout. A German cultural asset from whom German audiences will put up with just about anything. Krömer, whose charm can be classified somewhere between a road traffic office and a dive bar, made his stage debut in 1993 at the Scheinbar in Berlin.

With his sharp tongue, he expresses himself cynically and comically in such a dry way that loud laughter in the audience often follows only after an auditorium-filling murmur. Krömer is a finely drawn character in funky retro clothes: a punk in the body of a savings bank employee.

After programmes like Na, du alte Kackbratze (2005), Kröm de la Kröm (2008), Der nackte Wahnsinn (2011), Abschied! (2013), Heute stimmt alles (2016) and Stresssituation (2018), "Die Gönnung steigt" is the seventh stand-up comedy programme with which Krömer is once again touring Germany with great success.
